Infant Program

The Infant Program is for children ages 6 weeks to 12 months.It offers quality care for your infant in a small group setting. Parents suply the child's diapers and all baby food/formula. Teachers have experience in infant development, and the room is equipped with educational toys and equipment to provide for your baby's growth

Toddler Program

The Toddler Program is for children ages 12 months (and walking) to 3 years of age. The program is designed to help your child adjust to being in a small group of children, and provides enriching experiences in all areas of development through toys and equipment, guided play, etc. Help with toilet training will be done when the parents and teacher agree the child is ready. Your child will play outside twice daily in the teacher play yard, weather permitting.

3 to 5 Year Old Program

Children over 3 years of age attend preschool classes each morning. Our program emphasizes helping each child to develop a positive self-concept by providing activities through which the child can develop their social/emotional skills, beginning cognitive skills, and large/small muscle skills to their full potential.

All preschool age children will experience the following activities daily: Art, Music, Science/Math, Reading Readiness, Storytime, Large Muscle Activities, and Free Choice Time (which allows your child to choose what he/she wants to play with, in the housekeeping and dramatic play area, the blocks and trucks area, the game table, free art, the science table, etc.) They also go outside twice daily tothe large, fenced play area, weather permitting. Each month a new Social Science theme is introduced, plus special times are planned for cooking, creative dramatics, and field trips.

Kindergarten Care/School Age Care

ABC Children's Center provides before and after care for children in kindergarten through fourth grade. School age children spend their time with us in enriching activities such as art, science, creative dramatics, and large and small muscle skills, etc. We provide enriching but unstructured activities. A special fun-filled "day camp" program is offered during the summer.

Open Enrollment

ABC Children's Center has a policy of open enrollment. Children are admitted to our program as space requirements permit without regard torace, religion, national origin, sex, age or handicap (all clients must be able to follow DEL and program guidelines). Management reserves the right to change prices and policies and to terminate care with one week written notice. We will do our best to provide your child with a safe physical environment and an atmosphere where he/she can feel both secure and free togrow at his/her own pace under our love and guidance.
