Staff
ABC has a dedicated staff with extensive experience and training. The staff works very hard each day to live up to our commitments. Continuous training is provided for all staff and daily supervision occurs. We would especially invite you to visit the center and further discuss with the staff and teachers how your child will benefit from participation in the programs at ABC Children's Center.
Director Mugsy Schumacher:
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I join with you and the ABC staff as we help children grow and develop. This is a lovely center and I look forward to serving you and your children
During my twenty years in early childhood care I have developed some general philosophies. I believe children need to be met at whatever stage they are, emotionally, physically or developmentally. Children should be made to feel safe. They need to feel competent and know that they are enjoyed by those around them. What I do best is to ensure that systems are in place which help staff understand and identify what each child needs to thrive and grow. This is accomplished by continuous training for staff, providing adequate materials that support child development, ensuring good nutrition in a safe and friendly environment. The children deserve the best that we can give them. It is my intention that the Children at ABC are receiving great care and especially in a fashion that meets there individual needs. I truly believe that children come first.
